He writes; “I am interested in the functions we give to objects and how this affects our thinking. Practically, I tend to be inspired when making work by things I encounter within my day-to-day life, giving my practice a sense of immediate historicity, something I feel is important as it becomes a document to the geographical place and physical time that it was made. I have always been drawn to this idea of happenstance; scouring markets, pop culture, the internet and the streets when looking for ideas.”
