Featuring the work by Diana Policarpo, the second season of st_age by Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary (TBA21).

st_age searches for a new language that could help us reimagine the world around us, and become re-enchanted with it. st_age wants to reflect on how we could inhabit the world in a different way, one that is conscious and responsible, but also, transformative and intentional.

Season 02 includes practices, like Diana Policarpo’s, that delve into the remnants of medieval botanical erudition and witchcraft, which are still challenging patriarchal pharmacology today. The recuperation of ancestral knowledges is at the core of this second season of st_age whose projects have been developed in collaboration with independent organizations and institutions from around the globe.
